The Confessions of a Potterholic

Last Post: 21 September 2010
Today's Date: 11 November 2010

What?!

What happened to the proclamation of a broken hiatus?

Shameful, really.

I solemnly swear to spend more time on this blog.

On the bright side, my mantra today is ONE MORE WEEK!

Yes, push together all the holidays on the calender into one giant celebration and you get 18th November 2010. Why? You shouldn't be asking actually. You should know. You do know, don't you?

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 1 the movie is hitting the big screen at midnight. Woooooo. Yes, yes, yes, It's that time again.
Remember last year? I did book and movie marathons, scavenging YouTube for tantalising scraps thrown by Warner Brothers, reeling us all in, and scoured the Internet for every Potter sign possible.
Crazy? Maybe. Probably. But I'm proud of it :)

ONE MORE WEEEK!!

I've had the same problem. Once you start a blog, you feel excited but sadly, that (eventually) dies out. I haven't updated my blog since October 11, I think. But I just did :)

Yesh, I am also a Potter addict, I bought the book at the very same day it was on sale in Jashamal back in 2007 :p
Hope the film isn't disappointing. :s

Well, did you watch HP7 ?
I did but (OH my GOD!) it was so crowded and I ended sitting in the front row... But I decided sleeping on the open ground infront of me would me a MUCH better view (and It was :P ) , Only downside was that it was SUCH a long Movie !

Looking forward to Part 2 :)

Did I watch it?
hahaha :)
Of course I did!

I pestered the guy at the counter a week in advance to know when tickets were available.
And then three visits to the mall later, I prebooked the very first tickets :)

It's hell getting tickets in advance here! :O

But I loved every single minute of the movie! I'll post about it soon. I'm just too damn excited to type it all up.
HpatDH is the third SHORTEST film in the franchise.
I didn't think it was long, really.
The first bits were accelerated, in fact. The pace slowed while they were on the run, in hiding, understandably. Maybe that gave the illusion of length :)
But brilliant, brilliant, BRILLIANT!

Bring on Julyyyyy! :)

I tried 'The Ticket' , the one BATELCO offers. Bloody thing doesn't Even WORK !! -.-

I didn't think the movie was thaat short, It was long !! Or maybe it was because I had to go to the toilet :)

*Tip : Never drink all the Pepsi in the first 20 minutes, you WILL REGRET IT WITH YOUR LIFE !!!

I did like the movie, mainly because of those little funny moments, specially Ron during the Ministry :P
Maybe George (or was he Fred) was injured and uttered his silly joke :P

All in all, I'm soooo looking forward to the movie. But I already read the bloody book so I know what's going to happen. (And it can be annoying since I've got a brother who threatens to beat me half to death if I spoiled the story :S ).
